Exclusively for international students at the University of Florida

Three winners will each receive a $2,500 scholarship

TOPIC: Cultural and lifestyle differences

What are the cultural and lifestyle differences between your home country, the U.S., and being a Florida Gator?

How to enter: 

1. Make a video, no more than three minutes, comparing cultural and lifestyle differences.

2. Deadline to submit your video is Monday, October 19 at 11:59 p.m. (EST). Submit your video by using the form at the bottom of this page.

3. Finally, like the International Student Voice Magazine Facebook page AND the International Student Protection Facebook page to complete your entry.

Judging:

1. Videos will be judged based on creativity and quality of video.

2. The winners will be announced during International Education Week in November and then the winners will be announced on the ISV Magazine website.

3. The judging panel will consist of folks at International Student Voice Magazine, International Student Protection, and the University of Florida.

4. Three individual international student winners will receive a $2,500 scholarship that will be applied to their university account to cover academic costs.

Rules and Regulations, the Fine Print: 

1. Applicant must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled at the University of Florida.

2. Once video is submitted, applicant grants permission to International Student Voice Magazine to use, edit, display, modify, and market the video and all of it’s content in any matter International Student Voice Magazine deems appropriate. Applicant also agrees to waive any claims, damages, causes of action or injuries that result from, or are related to, International Student Voice Magazine’s publication or use of the video.
