International Student Voice Magazine Scholarship

Open to international students studying in the United States or Canada!
Description:
A $750 one-time scholarship will be awarded to an international student (college/university student on a J1 or F1 visa or a study permit) studying in the United States or Canada at a college/university during the 2012-2013 academic year. Participants must write an article and submit it to International Student Voice Magazine by using the form below.

Participants must also “like” the International Student Voice Magazine Facebook page and recruit two of their friends to “like” the page to be considered eligible for the scholarship.
Article requirements:
Write an essay answering the following:
“How will studying in another country help you achieve your career goal(s)?”
Essay must be in English. Our suggestion: Write the essay first in your native language and then translate it to English.
200 words minimum. 1,000 word limit.
Please include one or two photographs. Photographs should enhance your essay. Video is also welcomed but not required. If you choose to also submit a video, please include the YouTube link URL in your essay.

$750 (U.S. or Canadian, depending on winning student)
You must be studying at a college/university in the following countries:
United States of America
Canada
You must be from one of the following countries:
Student can be from any country, except the United States of America or Canada. You must be studying in the U.S. or Canada on a J1 or F1 visa or a study permit. Citizens or permanent residents of the United States or Canada are not eligible.
You must be studying one of the following:
All majors are eligible, including ESL, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D seeking students.

The top 10 finalists will be announced on Monday, March 18, 2013. Further instructions on selecting the winner will be announced at that time.
