During the academic year International Student Voice Magazine gives $100 to an international student every 2 weeks!

A student can enter to win by writing short essays answering questions from the ISV Magazine team.

The best part?

Students can enter to win each of the microscholarships!

Winners are featured in the issues of ISV Magazine.

HOW TO APPLY

Once we share the topic, you will have to write an essay:

  • Minimum one page, no more than two pages
  • Double spaced
  • 12 point font
  • Include a header with the following information: first name, last name, university, and the microscholarship number.

For example: Carrie Circosta, ISV Magazine University, microscholarship 1 

  • Include at least one photo in the essay
  • Include a title for your essay

When you are ready to submit, please use the form below. The same form will be used for each microscholarship.

WHO CAN APPLY

An international student (college/university student on a J1 or F1 visa) studying in the United States during the 2014-2015 academic year. Students can be part time or full time, undergraduate, graduate, or PhD seeking.

 

MICROSCHOLARSHIP TOPICS:

Microscholarship 1: Weird English words (Deadline passed) Winner: Sid Thatham 

Discuss your experience learning American English, words you found weird or didn’t make sense. If you come from a country where English is already spoken, you can talk about the differences you found (for example: British English, Canadian English, Australian English).
