More than 1.18 Million International Students Study in the United States

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) recently revamped its SEVIS by the Numbers report, now publishing it twice a year. The report provides a snapshot of international students studying in the United States. Data was extracted from SEVIS May 5, 2017.

More than 1.18 million international students on F or M status study in the United States, according to the latest report provided by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security. F status means students are in the United States for academics, while M status means students are in the country for vocational reasons, such as learning a trade. There …

Man Arrested in Connection to Missing Chinese Scholar

Yingying Zhang went missing on June 9 and more than 20 days after the disappearance, the FBI arrested a man and charged him with kidnapping.
