1spring 2017 scholarship finalists

14 Finalists Selected for $500 ISV Magazine Scholarships

During spring 2017 International Student Voice Magazine will award two international students $500 scholarships.

“We originally decided to have 12 finalists, but there were so many great entries we decided to have 14 finalists,” Carrie Circosta, Editor in Chief explained. “We had nearly 300 entries, it was extremely difficult to select just 14 finalists.”

To be considered for the scholarship, students had to answer the essay question: There has been confusion and hurt feelings about recent immigration news in the United States. As a current international student, what are your thoughts? What would you tell someone who is thinking about studying in the United States?

The essays from the 14 finalists will be featured in the spring issue of International Student Voice Magazine and on isvmag.com throughout April and May.

From these 14 students, two students will be selected and announced as the winners in the spring issue and on isvmag.com in late May.
