Breakfast is an extremely important part of the day! And my favorite one! EVEEEER!!!!!!

Breakfast can help you when you are trying to maintain a healthy weight or lose weight. In fact, there are many more reasons to eat breakfast than there are to skip it. If you want to avoid feeling hungry, deprived and sluggish throughout the day and if you want to lose more weight, then consider these reasons why eating breakfast can help you shed pounds, increase energy and help to keep you satisfied throughout the day.

When we wake up, we need to break that maybe 12 hours fast we did while sleeping, so it is very important that breakfast is full of complex carbs, protein and good fats!

1. It Fuels Your Body

When you eat breakfast in the morning, you are providing your body with the needed fuel to get through the stresses and activities until lunch time. Since you are essentially fasting while you sleep, your body looks for sources of fuel.

2. It Keeps You Motivated

Eating a nutritious meal in the morning can provide you with enough energy to feel ready for a workout, and exercise helps to boost your metabolism all day long. In fact, a healthy breakfast and a morning workout go hand in hand to keep you motivated until it’s time for bed. This helps to keep you on track when it comes to your eating plans and it enables you to keep a positive attitude when things get stressful while attending to your daily activities. After eating breakfast and working out in the morning, you’ll find that you might even have enough energy to get in a nice afternoon walk during lunch.

3. It Provides a Foundation

Eating breakfast is a good way to set the tone for the day. This is one reason it’s so important to make healthy choices when preparing your meals. If you choose to eat high fat breakfast products like sausage, bacon or hash browns, you run the risk of craving even more junk food when lunch time rolls around. This is for a couple of reasons. The first is because processed, fatty foods don’t do a good job of keeping your body fueled. The second is because high fat and processed foods always leave you wanting more.

So, while it’s extremely important to eat breakfast for weight loss and to maintain a healthy weight, it’s just as important to make sure you pay attention to what you are eating. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds are all great sources of fuel for your body and they will help to set the foundation for your day’s choices when it comes to food. If you start the day with a healthy breakfast, it’s easier to stay on track throughout the day.

I love breakfast! I mainly wake up just to have it and with the art of variety, which I will show you how I have done it,  breakfast has made me Healthy N’ Happy!
