New Scholarship Available for Cambodian Students

If you are a Cambodian student and/or have a parent from Cambodia you are eligible to apply for a new scholarship. Read more.

College Now located in Cleveland, Ohio will award a scholarship to a student who was born in Cambodia or have a parent who was born in Cambodia.

The Cambodian Scholarship for Excellence was established with support from the Burton D. Morgan Foundation and Keith and Danay Johnson.

For the 2015-2016 academic year, up to two $1,000 renewable scholarships will be awarded.


Applicants must:

  • Have been born in Cambodia or have parents, either of whom were born in Cambodia
  • Have 3.0 minimum high school or college GPA
  • Plan to attend a public or private, not-for-profit higher educational institution approved for Federal financial aid.
  • Applications will be accepted from students nationwide.
  • Applicants must submit:
    • Most recent high school or college transcript
    • 2015/2016 Student Aid Report (SAR)(if eligible for Federal Financial Aid)
    • 2015/2016 Financial Aid Award Letter (if available)
    • Letter of recommendation
