Enhance Your English Skills This Summer

If you’re looking to improve your English skills and experience a new U.S. city this summer, consider attending this English intensive program at the College of Lake County.

The summer intensive English language program offered at the College of Lake County is for international students who already have intermediate or advanced English skills in:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Listening
  • Speaking
  • Grammar

The program is for eight weeks starting June 3, 2013 until July 26, 2013.

During the summer program international students will take ELI (English Language Instruction) classes. These are like ESL (English as a Second Language) classes, but ELI classes prepare international students to be successful at U.S. colleges and universities and also prepare them for a career in the United States. Classes are small, homework will be assigned, and the goal is to help international students reach English proficiency as soon as possible! Students also have a chance to be involved in on-campus activities.
